1) Who we are

Plabify (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides online educational resources for international medical graduates and students preparing for PLAB, OET and UKMLA. Contact: [email protected].

2) Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using our website/app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use Plabify. We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated via email or in‑app notices.

3) Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be 18 years or older to register.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for all activity on your account.
  • We may limit simultaneous logins and devices to prevent account sharing.

4) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, download, scrape, record, reproduce or distribute Plabify content without written permission.
  • Circumvent access controls, share accounts, or enable unauthorised access.
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the service.
  • Use Plabify to provide or advertise competing services.
We may monitor usage to protect our content and platform integrity.

5) Subscriptions, Pricing & Refunds

  • Subscriptions are time‑limited and do not auto‑renew unless stated.
  • Pricing may differ by region or platform (e.g., app‑store fees).
  • Payments are processed by third‑party providers; we do not store full card details.
  • Refunds: available only as set out in our Refund Policy or as required by applicable consumer law.
  • Promotions and trials may have additional terms; we reserve the right to modify or withdraw them.

6) Service Changes & Availability

We may add, modify or remove features, content and courses to reflect current examination guidance and user feedback. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance or events beyond our control (force majeure) may cause temporary unavailability.

7) Content & Intellectual Property

All questions, explanations, notes, images, software and other materials are owned by Plabify or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Access is granted for personal, non‑commercial study only. You must not reproduce, resell, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from our content without written consent. Unauthorised use may result in immediate suspension and legal action.

8) User Content & Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, error reports or testimonials, you grant Plabify a worldwide, royalty‑free, perpetual licence to use and adapt that input for service improvement and marketing (with attribution only where agreed). Do not share confidential or patient‑identifiable information.

9) Academic & Clinical Disclaimers

Plabify provides educational materials for exam preparation only. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment recommendations. For clinical decisions, consult a qualified medical professional. Use of our materials does not guarantee exam success, training placement or employment.

10) Privacy & Data Protection

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By using Plabify, you consent to such processing. Where required, you may exercise your data‑subject rights (e.g., access, deletion) as set out therein.

11) Third‑Party Services

The service may link to third‑party websites, payment processors, communication tools or app stores. We are not responsible for third‑party content, policies or availability. Your use of third‑party services is at your own risk and may be subject to their terms.

12) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms (e.g., account sharing, content misuse, fraud, or security risks). You may cancel at any time; termination does not entitle you to a refund unless required by law or our Refund Policy. On termination, your licence to use the service ends and we may delete or anonymise related data subject to our retention obligations.

13) Warranties & Liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including fitness for a particular purpose). To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses (including data loss, business interruption, loss of profits or exam outcomes).
  • Our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for access in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

14) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms.

15) General

  • Severability: If any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights without our written consent; we may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a merger or acquisition.
  • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Plabify regarding the service.
  • Notices: We may send legal notices by email or in‑app messaging.
